Job summary

A community-focused hospital in Ohio is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join their Respiratory Care Services team on the night shift.

Responsibilities include administering respiratory therapy, ventilator management, airway procedures, emergency intubation, and data documentation. The role supports on-call and every third weekend rotations, with a Monday–Friday schedule in the benefits section.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• NBRC CRT or RRT certification and Ohio licensure.
• BLS required; ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications required.
• NRP certification completed.
• 3+ years in cardiopulmonary services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments across all ages.
• Set up and monitor mechanical ventilators and airway management.
• Perform emergency intubation and airway procedures.
• Monitor oxygen delivery methods and side effects.
• Perform arterial blood gas punctures and analysis.
• Advise and transmit EKG reports per protocol.
• Inspect and operate respiratory equipment safely.
• Assess patient status and adjust care plans.
• Document data in PCN after services.
• Educate patients and families; participate in on-call rotations.
• Attend meetings, QI activities, and mandatory trainings.
