A community-focused hospital in Ohio is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join their Respiratory Care Services team on the night shift.

You will administer respiratory therapy, operate ventilators, perform airway management, arterial blood gases, EKGs, and participate in on-call and weekend rotations while upholding patient safety and professional standards. This role requires current Ohio license and active NBRC credentials, with ongoing professional development expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• Current Ohio Respiratory Therapist license in good standing.
• NBRC CRT or RRT credential.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required.

Responsabilités

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments across all patient ages (pediatric to geriatric).
• Set up, manage, and monitor mechanical ventilators; airway management including suctioning.
• Perform emergency intubation and airway management as needed.
• Perform arterial blood gas punctures and interpret results; monitor complications.
