MedStar Health in Maryland seeks a Respiratory Therapist for PRN night shifts (7pm-7:30am) to deliver respiratory care per physician orders and established standards. You will serve diverse patient populations and support department goals.

Responsibilities include performing therapies, monitoring equipment, reviewing EMRs, and participating in CPR. Requires associate degree in respiratory care, MD licensure, CRT, and up to 3 years acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher from an AMA accredited program in respiratory care required
• Bachelor's degree in related healthcare field preferred
• 0-3 years of acute care experience required
• CRT and/or RCP licensure in Maryland; CPR/NRP required

Responsabilités

• Performs all respiratory therapy treatments and services as ordered by physician
• Operates monitors and equipment including oxygen, humidity, ventilators, and spirometry
• Reviews electronic medical records and physician orders during shifts
• Responds to CPR and provides oxygen/ventilation as needed
• Maintains workflow efficiency and interdepartmental processes
• Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements
