Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program and licensed in Florida.
• Current BLS certifications and NBRC credentials preferred.
• Ability to implement care plans, monitor outcomes and educate families.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates respiratory care policies and procedures by patient outcomes and research.
• Responds to codes and emergent calls; assesses patient condition and delivers therapy.
• Educates patients and families about illness and community resources.
• Delivers and assesses therapy per plan of care; documents patient condition.
• Monitors patient status and communicates changes to the team.
