Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to administer respiratory care, including critical and general therapy, and to oversee pulmonary services for designated patients.

The role conducts assessments, supports ventilation management, performs diagnostic tests, and trains staff. A degree and RRT credential are required, with state licensure and ongoing commitment to patient safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy or equivalent.
• Must be an RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) with PA licensure.
• Experience is not required but knowledge of respiratory care techniques is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiopulmonary assessments, therapies, and diagnostic tests as part of the care team.
• Manage mechanical ventilation, BiPAP, and monitor respiratory therapy equipment.
• Educate patients and train staff on respiratory care procedures.
• Ensure adequate inventory of respiratory equipment and instrument maintenance.
