Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Respiratory Practitioner.
• BLS required on hire; ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• Maintain licenses and certification for the duration of employment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate respiratory care equipment used for diagnosis and treatment.
• Monitor ventilators; participate in ventilator weaning as directed.
• Record treatments and patient responses in charts and MARs.
• Perform trach care and document changes per policy; suction as needed.
• Conduct blood gas analyses and document results.
