Job summary

Vista Prairie at Windmill Ponds in Alexandria, MN, is seeking a part-time Resident Assistant to support residents with daily living tasks and ensure safety during transfers.

You will help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care; assist with mobility using trained techniques; and monitor changes in health, reporting to nursing staff.

The role offers a NOC shift, pay $19.19–$22.25 hourly based on experience, and benefits including paid time off and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience or training in a health-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care.
• Support safe transfers and mobility using trained techniques and equipment.
• Assist with or administer medications according to residents' care plans.
• Build real relationships with residents and respond quickly when they need you.
• Watch for changes in a resident's health or mood and report them to nursing staff.
• Bring calm, patience, and respect to every interaction.
