Job summary

Vista Prairie Communities' Windmill Ponds in Alexandria, MN is seeking a Part-Time Resident Assistant for the NOC shift. You will assist residents with daily activities, support safe transfers, help with medications per care plans, and build trusting relationships with those you serve.

The role requires English literacy and a high school diploma or GED (preferred). We emphasize calm, patience, and respectful interactions while collaborating with a caring team.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
• Preferred: High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Experience or training in a health-related field.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care.
• Support safe transfers and mobility using trained techniques and equipment.
• Assist with or administer medications according to residents' care plans.
• Build real relationships with residents and respond quickly when they need you.
• Watch for changes in a resident's health or mood and report them to nursing staff.
• Bring calm, patience, and respect to every interaction.
