Job summary

Methodist Retirement Communities is seeking a Night Shift (10pm-6am) Resident Care Assistant at PineCrest in Lufkin, TX. The role involves administering resident care under supervision, assisting with activities, and helping residents adapt to aging-related changes.

Responsibilities

• Administer the care of residents under the supervision of licensed staff and assists professional nursing staff by performing routine tasks in the care of residents.
• Assist residents in adapting to changes that may occur due to illness and normal processes of aging.
• Use one-on-one and group relationships to facilitate participation in activities, support interest, develop and sustain capacities and adaptive skills of residents.
• Lead and coordinate various types of activities and programs for the residents.
• Assist in the development and implementation of care plans.
