Job summary

Macatawa Senior Living Facility is seeking a dedicated Resident Aide to provide compassionate care to our residents. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health, and support medication administration.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Experience working with the elderly is preferred.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Every other weekend is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (transfers, bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility).
• Maintain cleanliness of resident environment; perform light housekeeping as needed.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures.
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes promptly.
• Assist with meal trays and eating as required.
• Document medications accurately and adhere to procedures.
• Respond to call lights and assess resident needs promptly.
• Support other team members and participate in shift tasks.
