Job summary

Medical City McKinney, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Rehab Patient Care Tech PRN to join night shifts (7pm–7am). As a PCT, you support Registered Nurses with vital signs, mobility, and personal care, while helping create a safe, welcoming environment for patients and their families.

You will assist with daily needs, maintain clean and stocked spaces, manage supplies, and communicate clearly with the care team to uphold safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Enrollment in an accredited nursing program preferred.
• 1+ year of acute care experience preferred.
• BLS/CPR recommended or as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers and comfort.
• Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes and skin care.
• Keep patient areas clean, organized and stocked for safety.
• Manage supplies, equipment and logs to support infection control.
• Communicate with patients, families and care team to ensure safety and quality.
