CoxHealth South is seeking a Registration Specialist II to join the Patient Registration team at CoxHealth South, Springfield, MO. This role handles on-site registration, collects demographic and insurance information, and manages patient financial obligations with a focus on quality service.

Work is night shift with a 24-hour weekly schedule, involving coordination with multiple departments and potential travel between CoxHealth sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of prior registration experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with computers and computer systems.
• Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist patients during on-site registration and arrival process.
• Complete demographic and insurance information collection.
• Handle patient financial obligations at the time of service.
• Perform financial clearance functions on assigned accounts during downtimes.
• Greet and assist patients and staff in a professional manner.
• Travel between sites and extended hours may be required.
