Job summary

Covenant Health is seeking a Team Leader for Admitting & Registration at Fort Sanders Regional. The role oversees daily operations in Patient Services Center, Bed Control, Sleep Center and Women’s Services Registration, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and strong customer service.

The position requires leading staff, coordinating coverage, addressing schedule changes, and maintaining regulatory compliance with Joint Commission and HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and staff scheduling abilities.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to interact with physicians and staff.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare regulations applicable to admissions/registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership and scheduling for Admission/Registration staff.
• Monitor data accuracy and patient service quality in registration.
• Coordinate with physicians, nursing and hospital departments for efficient bed placement and patient flow.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and training of new staff.
