Job summary

UnityPoint Health-Meriter seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide expert respiratory care across inpatient and outpatient settings, from neonates to adults. You will deliver safe therapies, perform diagnostic testing, and maintain equipment while documenting accurately and collaborating with care teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner license in state(s) of practice.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC) must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert respiratory care to inpatients and outpatients, from neonates to adults.
• Deliver safe, efficient respiratory therapies and diagnostic testing.
• Maintain equipment, document accurately, and ensure safety and efficacy of therapies.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
