Job summary

UnityPoint Health-Meriter is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for the 12-hour night shift (630PM-7AM) with every-other weekend coverage. You will deliver high-quality respiratory care across neonatal to adult populations in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Qualifications include an Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy, state licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, NBRC registration within 6 months, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner license in state(s) of practice.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist NBRC within 6 months of date of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert respiratory care to a diverse patient population across inpatient and outpatient settings, from neonates to adults.
• Deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate respiratory therapies and diagnostic testing.
• Maintain equipment, document accurately, and collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
