AdventHealth in Altamonte Springs, Florida, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our Nights team. This position supports trusted patient care on three 12‑hour night shifts with weekend rotation in a major regional hospital.

You will perform ventilator management, ABG analysis, and patient assessments as part of a multidisciplinary team, while upholding safety standards and CPR guidelines per hospital policy.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy is required.
• State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or NBRC RRT is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 1+ year of critical care experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Documents and charges for procedures accurately and completely.
• Demonstrates collaboration and teamwork in assisting with patient flow.
• Interprets evaluations and test results to determine appropriate treatment plans in consultation with the multidisciplinary team.
• Responds to Code Blue emergencies delivering CPR per AHA guidelines.
• Performs respiratory and oxygen delivery therapies and recommends delivery methods per protocol.
• Obtains and reports arterial blood gases and co-oximetry findings; performs quality controls.
• Maintains airway management including airway devices and suctioning.
• Initiates and monitors mechanical ventilators per policy.
• Assesses patients and makes therapy recommendations per department protocol.
• Other duties as assigned.
