Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Mansfield, TX is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide airway management, ventilator support, ABG analysis and PFTs for adults and neonates, under supervision. You will be responsible for respiratory therapy, evaluation, and adherence to departmental policies.

Requires TX license as Respiratory Care Practitioner, NBRC registration, BLS and ACLS; NRP/Paediatric ALS within 1 year.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current Basic Life Support certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required.
• NRP and Pediatric ALS must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Licensed in good standing as Respiratory Care Practitioner by the Texas Medical Board.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• At least 6 months respiratory care experience.

Responsabilidades

• Performs respiratory therapeutics including oxygen, aerosols, humidity, airway management and ventilation support.
• Conducts ABG, pulse oximetry, PFTs and ECGs; reports results.
• Prepares treatment evaluations from patient data and records.
• Interprets CXR, ABG and PFT data to guide treatment.
• Maintains and troubleshoots cardiopulmonary equipment and devices.
• Adheres to infection control, safety and quality assurance protocols.
