Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Night shift (10:45pm - 7:15am) at Memorial West 3. This on-site role involves planning, delivering, and managing direct patient care using the Nursing Process, with attention to all patient ages and unit-specific competencies.

Minimum MA nursing license and current BLS are required; ACLS may be required depending on unit. BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is a requirement for every RN unless ACLS certification is current, in addition to any unit specific certifications and competencies.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for the delivery and management of patient's care from Admission to Discharge, appropriate to the developmental age of the patient population.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individual plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluate nursing care within assigned clinical setting.
• Delegates appropriately to others in accordance with job description and competency level.
