Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Night Shift with weekend hours. The role delivers direct patient care using the nursing process and collaborates with the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include assessments, developing care plans, and discharge planning. MA licensure, BLS, ACLS where required, and a BSN are preferred. A signing bonus may be available during the interview process.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is required for every RN; ACLS cert may be required for certain units.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process for delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates discharge planning and individual care plans.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the assigned setting.
• Documents patient care according to standard procedures and policies.
• Delivers education to patient/family and supports care transitions.
