UNMH Jobs is seeking an experienced RN for a 0.90 FTE position with rotating shifts across multiple departments (PCU/ICU/ED). The role requires direct patient care for diverse age groups and active participation in care planning and education.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and NM RN licensure or eligibility, with BLS within 30 days. The position emphasizes patient safety, adherence to policies, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• RN license in NM or eligible per reciprocal agreement
• 1 year directly related RN experience
• CPR for Healthcare/BLS within 30 days of hire

Responsabilités

• Deliver safe direct care to an assigned group of patients according to the nursing process
• Follow Hospitals and departmental policies
• Develop, implement and document individualized care plans
• Assist with tests and procedures and obtain proper consent
• Participate in orientation and mentor new staff
• Assist with emergency measures for critical events
• Maintain accurate patient medical records
• Triage calls and answer inquiries per policy
• Administer medications, including IV, and document findings
• Contribute to a safe and therapeutic patient environment
• Support ongoing professional development and education
• Promote patient safety and report issues promptly
• Encourage patient and family participation in care
• Adhere to Patient Centered Medical Home or Patient Centered Specialty Practice standards
