Job summary

Jefferson Health seeks an experienced registered nurse to deliver patient- and family-centered care within a diverse patient population. You will collaborate with patients and designated care partners to tailor care plans respecting cultural beliefs and values.

In a hospital setting, you will participate in inter-professional teams, apply evidence-based practices, educate patients, and contribute to discharge planning and post-discharge care while maintaining accurate documentation and safety

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care and effective care planning.
• Cultural awareness and ability to work with diverse patients.
• Effective communication and delegation within a team.
• Knowledge of nursing assessment and care planning.
• Medication administration knowledge.
• Discharge planning knowledge and post-discharge care.
• Health information/documentation knowledge (HIM/EHR).
• Active RN license in state of practice.

Responsibilities
