Job summary

Jefferson Health seeks a professional registered nurse to deliver patient- and family-centered care, develop care plans, and address physical, psychological, emotional, and social needs in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include educating patients and families, coordinating with care teams, and contributing to safety and quality initiatives. Active PA RN licensure and BLS are required; Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge of patient-, family-, and culturally oriented care planning.
• Strong communication within diverse care teams and with patients.
• Ability to document and manage health information in nursing practice.
• BLS certification and PA RN licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with co-workers, patients, families, and staff aligning with Jefferson Health values.
• Identify learning needs for patients and families and provide education.
• Use information technology to communicate and monitor care outcomes.
• Work within interprofessional teams to ensure safe, compassionate care.
