Job summary

Wellstar Health Systems, Inc. is seeking an RN Clinical Nurse in Georgia to join an interdisciplinary team and deliver high-quality, safe patient care. The role operates within the Wellstar Shared Governance Model, guided by the Professional Practice Model and evidence-based practice.

Nurses will uphold the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics. The RN will collaborate with the patient, family, and care team, maintain voice of the patient, and support service excellence

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment; diagnosis; outcomes; planning; implementation and evaluation) using evidence-based practice.
• Provides relationship-based patient-centered care reflecting cultural diversity.
• Partners with the patient and family using bedside shift report, interdisciplinary rounds, and patient teaching.
• Practices using current clinical practice standards.
• Coordinates safe quality patient care and documentation with interdisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrates teamwork and collaborates while being fiscally responsible.
• Participates in performance improvement and shared governance at all levels.
• Completes initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education.
• Serves as a preceptor/mentor to ensure a qualified workforce.
