Job summary

Memorial Healthcare in Owosso, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (7p). The nurse delivers patient care through the nursing process, educates patients and families, and collaborates with the care team to meet patient needs while upholding hospital standards.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active Michigan RN license, with BLS. Prior nursing experience is preferred; travel between Memorial facilities may be possible.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN license in Michigan.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required or obtain within 2 weeks of hire.
• Related experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, psychological, and social needs on admission and document assessment.
• Develop and initiate a care plan within 24 hours of admission.
• Implement care plan and document outcomes; update as needed.
• Educate patient and family about condition, medications, and self-care.
• Maintain infection control and safe medication administration.
• Communicate with the care team to coordinate patient care and discharge needs.
