Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 9PM–7:30AM night shift at St. Luke’s Medical Center (IU 9LM). 0.9 FTE, full-time benefits eligible with a $38.20–$57.30 hourly pay range. Responsibilities include nursing process, patient assessment, care planning, and safe medication administration.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program with BLS and RN license required; BSN preferred. Expect collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and potential floating across units as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license in appropriate state with multi-state or single-state privileges.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and updates care plans with the team.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Maintains accurate EHR documentation and adheres to safety standards.
• May float to other units to meet patient care needs.
