Job summary

Lineage Health Care Consulting in Chicago, Illinois is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an overnight position. The role involves direct nursing care for residents, supervising nursing assistants, and maintaining a calm, positive environment.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN or LPN in Illinois
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Ability to make independent decisions and be knowledgeable of nursing practices and procedures
• Current CPR Certification required
• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred

Responsibilities

• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents, provide leadership to nursing personnel, and complete required record keeping forms
• Administer medications and perform routine charting duties according to policies and procedures
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with inter-departmental personnel and create a positive atmosphere throughout the unit
• Administer professional services, monitor personnel to ensure safety regulations are followed, and maintain confidentiality of resident care information
