Job summary

AdventHealth in Louisville, CO is seeking a registered nurse for Labor and Delivery night shifts. You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, educate families, and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

Assess comprehensive patient factors: physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle.
Develop and implement individualized care plans, updating as needed.
Administer medications per physician orders and monitor for adverse reactions.
Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care.
Document care activities and patient outcomes accurately.
Ensure infection control and safety compliance in care delivery.
Respond promptly to code situations and provide necessary interventions.
