Job summary

Baptist Health Louisville is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Labor and Delivery unit on the night shift. The unit handles high-risk and standard deliveries with 24/7 in-house support, and delivers about 3,000 babies annually.

The RN will implement the nursing process, promote positive patient outcomes, collaborate with the inter-professional team, and pursue ongoing professional development to maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required.
• Active Kentucky RN License required.
• BCLS, ACLS and NRP required.
• 2 years NICU/newborn experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements the nursing process for assigned patients across the age spectrum.
• Promotes positive patient outcomes and quality patient care.
• Collaborates with inter-professional team to optimize outcomes; participates in lifelong learning.
