Job summary

AdventHealth is hiring a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift in Louisville, CO. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, educate families, and coordinate with the care team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold a Nursing degree with active RN license and BLS certification, and demonstrate strong English communication, critical thinking, and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• RN with valid license and BLS certification.
• Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred.
• Experience in acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Fluent English in reading, speaking and writing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physiological, psychological, development and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and evaluate progress.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure teamwork.
• Document patient information and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
• Continuously evaluate care plans and adjust to improve health outcomes.
• Ensure infection control, safety compliance and regulatory standards.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate care to healthcare team members.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and performance improvement activities.
• Respond promptly to code situations and provide stabilizing interventions.
