Job summary

Union Hospital in Elkton, MD, part of ChristianaCare, is seeking a registered nurse for the Medical Specialty unit on the night shift. The role is 24 hours per week, with shift primarily 7p–7a, and flexibility to support day shift as needed.

Weekend and holiday coverage per department guidelines. Ideal candidates have a BSN, or ADN with plans to complete BSN within three years, and at least one year of acute care experience with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• ADN candidates must commit to obtaining BSN within three years of hire.
• Minimum one year of acute care experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on the Medical Specialty unit.
• Monitor and document patient status and respond to changes.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and implement care.
