Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, Inc. in Tulsa, Oklahoma is seeking a Registered Nurse I (Weekend Option) for night shift (7p–7a). This full-time position offers a weekend option and 24 hours per week with full benefits.

The RN will assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care according to hospital standards and unit policies. Minimum education includes basic nursing curricula approved by the state board, and RN licensure (multi-state or Oklahoma). Experience is 0–6 months.

Qualifications

• Has completed basic nursing curricula approved by a state board of nursing.
• Licensure as RN in multi-state or Oklahoma (as applicable).
• 0–6 months related nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to care for patients.
• Assesses and plans patient care considering age, culture, and psychosocial factors.
• Documents steps of the nursing process.
• Uses proper medical terminology in documentation.
• Addresses problems and progress toward goals.
• Facilitates patient discharge with referrals and education resources.
• Collaborates with other disciplines as appropriate.
• Supports unit and hospital goals through education and variance reporting.
