Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, Inc. in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Registered Nurse I (PRN) for night shifts from 7p to 7a, Sundays and Mondays.

The nurse assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care using the nursing process in accordance with hospital standards and unit policies. The role requires completion of basic nursing education, valid RN licensure (multi-state or Oklahoma), and at least two years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Has completed the basic professional curricula of a school of nursing and holds a diploma or degree.
• Valid multi-state or Oklahoma RN license.
• Minimum 2 years related experience.
• Knowledge of disease state management, bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to care for patients.
• Assesses, organizes and completes patient care considering age, culture and psychosocial factors.
• Documents steps of the nursing process.
• Uses proper medical terminology.
• Addresses problems and progress toward goals.
• Facilitates patient discharge with referrals and education.
• Collaborates with other disciplines.
• Supports unit/hospital goals through PI and education activities.
