Job summary

Good Samaritan Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night shift on a per diem basis. The RN will plan, deliver and evaluate nursing care under the supervision of the Director, performing a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties.

The role requires FL RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS within 6 months, plus Basic EKG training within 6 months of employment. GSMC emphasizes compassionate care and professional growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse, State of Florida.
• BLS.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Basic EKG course within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assesses physical, psychosocial, educational, and growth and development needs of the patient.
• Develops a written plan of care using assessment data and provides teaching and guidance to patient and/or family as well as staff members.
• Implements nursing plan of care on assigned patients and communicates and documents patient activities, needs and assessments.
• Evaluates the patient’s response to interventions/teaching.

Education

Licensed Registered Nurse, State of Florida

BLS

ACLS within 6 months of hire
