Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan is responsible for providing individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process, collaborating with residents, families and the care team to plan, implement, and evaluate care across all phases. May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to staff within scope and licensure.

The role requires a nursing license, preferred bachelor’s degree in nursing, and participation in ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA. Bachelor‘s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or multistate licensure in an NLC state.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with residents, their families and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, resident assessment, education and various nursing interventions.
