Signature HealthCARE in Roanoke Rapids, NC is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for evening shifts. You will provide direct resident care under licensed supervision, support ADLs, and help create a compassionate, safe living environment in our 108-bed facility.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state in which the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
• Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide ADLs within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain grooming supplies in resident rooms.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate devices.
• Record resident vitals, weights, intake/output, and other data.
• Routinely turn and position residents as needed.
• Support resident rights and choices within care environment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in assigned areas.
• Answer call lights promptly and assist residents.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
