Job summary

ECU Health Nursing is seeking a Staff Nurse II to provide high-quality patient care in accordance with the North Carolina Board of Nursing-Nurse Practice Act and professional standards. The role requires an active NC RN license or licensure in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state and current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.

The position is 0.9 FTE (36 hours per week) with night shifts and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Current NC RN license or licensure to practice in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state.

Responsibilities

• Nursing care will be delivered in accordance with ECU Health and entity specific nursing policies, procedures and professional standards of care/practice.
• Collaborates with health care team members to meet the identified needs of the patient/family throughout the episode of care.
• Delegates tasks and activities as appropriate and governed by NC Nurse Practice Act.
