Job summary

PrimeCare Medical, Inc is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Lehigh County Prison in Allentown, PA. The FT Night shift runs 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, focusing on secure, high-quality nursing care in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
Clinical decision-making ability.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to function independently and demonstrate clinical competency.
Ability to gain trust of patients and build a working relationship.

Responsibilities

Ensure nursing practice complies with established standards.
Assess and provide comprehensive treatment care while observing security requirements.
Monitor treatment services to avoid misuse or duplication of services; advise supervisors when needed.
Coordinate and conduct monthly health care staff meetings and other duties as assigned.
Maintain accurate records of controlled substances, narcotics, and sharps.
