Job summary

AdventHealth is hiring an RN for the night shift in New Smyrna Beach, FL to deliver high-quality patient care across assessments, plans and medications. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to coordinate treatment, educate families, and ensure safety and documentation accuracy.

The role requires an active Florida RN license and BLS certification, with preferred advanced certifications. On-site, you will join a faith-based health system committed to whole-person well-being.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license (Florida) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Preferred: CCNS, NEONATAL MED, NRP, PEARS, RDMS-OBGYN, other advanced certifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural and spiritual factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and monitor outcomes.
• Administer medications/treatments per orders and educate patients/families.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and document care accurately in the medical record.
• Ensure infection control, safety and regulatory compliance throughout care delivery.
• Provide emotional support and supervise care provided by the team.
