Job summary

Commonwealth Senior Living is seeking a Registered Medication Associate (RMA) to provide high quality care by assisting with medication administration, observing residents, and maintaining accurate records in a compassionate, compliant manner. The role supports safe delivery of the Medication Management Program and adherence to state standards in a senior living setting.

The RMA will work full-time at our Onancock community, demonstrating core values, confidentiality, and strong communication

Qualifications

• Certification as a Resident Care Associate with state approval.
• Maintain current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Ability to work weekends and flexible hours.
• Knowledge of safe medication administration.
• Commitment to resident confidentiality and dignity.
• Proficiency with basic office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and safe delivery of the Medication Management Program.
• Administer and record medications as prescribed.
• Observe and report adverse reactions and effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate documentation in resident records.
• Manage medication inventories and re-orders.
• Observes infection control practices per OSHA standards.
• Communicate clearly with residents and team members.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and participate in trainings.
