Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is hiring a Recycle Technician in Oregon. The role involves recycling, reuse, and reclamation duties, maintaining clean work areas, and following safety rules.

You will work in a team, handle materials, and participate in reporting and environmental tasks. The position requires a high school diploma or GED with recycling experience; CPR/First Aid certification is a plus, and a driver’s license may be needed for occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years of recycling experience preferred.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus; valid driver’s license may be required; driving duties require acceptable MVR.
• Forklift certification and Hazardous Waste Handling Training may be required.
• Bilingual skills are a plus; ability to read and interpret instructions; strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees.
• Maintain clean work area; perform repetitive tasks.
• Handle and sort reusable or recyclable materials; inspect and organize dock areas.
• Present a professional appearance and conduct; communicate with lead and supervisors.
• Understand reporting systems and environment-related relevance.
