Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Recycle Technician to support recycle, reuse, and reclamation programs. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to company procedures while handling recyclable materials and maintaining dock areas.

Responsibilities include sorting materials, following safety rules, and communicating professionally with leaders and colleagues. Prior experience in recycling is preferred, with CPR/AED/First Aid training a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years of recycling experience.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus; may require a valid driver’s license; forklift certification may be required.
• Bilingual a plus; ability to read and interpret instructions; strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees.
• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner.
• Collect, salvage, and sort reusable or recycle materials or waste materials.
• Inspect and sort materials.
• Maintain dock and collection areas.
• Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules.
