Job summary

Northpoint Recovery is hiring a Recovery Technician for part-time night shifts in Edmonds, WA. The role focuses on safety and wellbeing of patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to implement care plans per Northpoint policies.

On-site responsibilities span observation, documentation, transport, and activity facilitation within the milieu. Compensation ranges from $22 to $24.50 per hour, plus shift differential; the position requires 21+ years of age, valid license, and strong

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
• 1+ year of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge and skills in English usage, interpersonal relationships and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to implement and interpret department programs, goals and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to hold strong personal boundaries and build rapport with patients.
• Knowledge of surrounding geographic area to ensure effective routing.
• Ability to organize and prioritize competing priorities and balance demands.
• Proficiency in patient rights, safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Interact routinely with patients and observe behaviors for report to clinical staff.
• Follow reporting and communication guidelines with staff and patients.
• Complete daily paperwork and logs accurately and on time.
• Maintain daily schedules around transport, meals, and programming hours.
• Provide patient observation rounds and monitor activities during shifts.
• Promote recreational outings and pro-social coping skills.
• Ensure wellbeing and a positive, structured environment; respond to patient needs.
• Assist with transport of patients to/from facilities.
• Assist with orientation of new admissions.
• Document information regarding client care as required.
