Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to lead store warehouse operations, supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers and forklift operators, and manage daily freight scheduling based on customer and inventory needs. You will direct daily activities, ensure efficient shipping and receiving, and maintain safety and compliance across the warehouse.

The role requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience and strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.
• Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in the company.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet established deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance and inventory control.
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs; ensure safe, efficient equipment for distribution tasks.
• Run warehouse safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures.
• Handle employee inquiries and resolve problems.
• Coordinate with other departments for efficient warehouse operations.
• Complete activity reports for management.
• Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control for data entry.
• Resolve discrepancies in shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
• Ensure products are staged for counting and inspection and stored properly to save space.
• Oversee inventory rotation and perform other duties as directed by management.
