Eligible applicants must hold ARRT certification and an Illinois radiologic license, with CPR/AED certification preferred at hire. The position requires weekend/holiday rotation per department scheduling.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification.
• Current Illinois Radiologic Technology license.
• Current CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain.
• Ability to work full-time night-shift and weekends/holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients and verify examinations against orders.
• Position patients safely and provide compassionate patient care.
• Explain procedures and answer questions while maintaining patient privacy.
• Follow radiation-safety practices and hospital policies.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Document examination details in the medical records system.
• Support department operations and participate in ongoing education.
