Job summary

Chart Industries seeks a Quality Technician for its Tulsa, OK facility. The role oversees inspections of quality and performance from receipt to final test, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.

The night shift runs Monday–Friday, 5:30pm–5:00am with occasional Saturdays. You will coordinate inspections, audits, traceability, and engineering communications on the production floor to deliver compliant products.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years prior relevant experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Interpersonal Skills with customer focus.
• Ability to present information to managers, clients and staff.
• Dependability and strong customer service attitude.
• Ability to read and interpret general procedures and regs.

Responsibilities

• Predictably and regularly attend work and be punctual.
• Read and understand documents and drawings.
• Interact politely and professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Perform several tasks at once.
• Follow direction or instruction.
• Use a computer to communicate, create, and access information.
• Inspect the fabrication process to ensure compliance with specs.
• Coordinate outside customer inspections and holding points.
• Prepare Nonconformity Reports when a problem is detected.
• Communicate engineering issues and solutions to production floor.
• Monitor welding and liquid penetrant testing.
• Review test results to maintain pretimed parameters.
• Inspect materials for damage, heat numbers and mill test reports.
• Perform internal and external audits for ASME, ISO and supplier programs.
• Maintain product traceability through fabrication.
