Job summary

Chart Industries in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Quality Technician to join our manufacturing QA team. You will record quality data, analyze results, and help validate processes against established standards, with responsibilities spanning basic to advanced QC tasks and NDE support.

The role requires reading blueprints, interpreting work orders, strong math skills, attention to detail, and the ability to problem-solve non-conformities. Overtime and weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• 2 - 5 years of quality technician experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and work orders
• Intermediate to advanced math skills (weight measurement, volume, distance, multiplication, division, percentage and conversions)
• Attention to detail essential
• Intermediate computer skills
• Strong time management skills
• Proven ability to identify, reason and problem solve intermediate non-conformities and deviations
• Overtime and weekend hours, as needed

Responsibilities

• Records relevant quality data
• Provides analysis of data and writes summaries to validate or show deviations from existing standards
• Recommend modifications to existing, or suggest new standards, methods and procedures
• Performs work under general supervision
• Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers - high complex issues to higher-level staff
• Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter
• Utilizes basic, intermediate to advanced tools (such as caliper, micrometer, optical comparator, CMM etc.) in daily tasks
• Other duties, as assigned
