Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead the quality team on the shop floor, ensuring policies and procedures are followed and staff are mentored. You will drive continuous improvement, coordinate lab activities, and contribute to quality initiatives across production lines.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in production and strong knowledge of quality tools, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years in production preferred.
• Experience in machine shop, stamping, assembly, or plastic injection molding a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of quality systems and techniques.
• Strong problem solving; familiar with SPC, Root Cause, Auditing.
• Ability to understand and apply work planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the quality team responsible for monitoring floor quality, processes, documentation.
• Orient, train/develop, motivate, counsel and assist team members in work instructions and production standards.
• Perform supervisory and HR functions (work assignments, attendance, evaluations).
• Assist in production scheduling/planning, material flow, and equipment maintenance as it pertains to quality.
• Monitor quality audits, safety reports, and processes to determine causes and ensure corrections.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships within the quality and plant teams.
• Assign work and special projects to develop team members’ experience.
• Requisition resources and expedite as required.
• Contribute to team effort by performing related tasks as needed.
• Other duties as determined by production and business needs.
