Job summary

Actalent in Memphis, TN is seeking a Quality Specialist for our food manufacturing facility on the night shift (10 PM–6 AM). You will lead quality activities, oversee GMP, HACCP, and microbiology programs, and partner with Production, Sanitation, and Warehouse teams to protect product quality.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related science and 2+ years in food quality systems. You will conduct audits, investigate deviations, perform CAPAs, and train staff, with on-call weekend support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of quality assurance, food safety, microbiology, or quality systems experience in food manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead night-shift quality representation across three departments.
• Monitor GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and verify quality trends.
