Job summary

PLZ Corp in Pacific, MO is hiring a Quality Control & Lab Support Technician on the night shift to ensure product quality and lab integrity. You will support calibration, documentation, and action items to prevent non-conformance, working closely with the Quality Lab Manager.

The role requires hands-on QC work, attention to safety, procedural discipline, and the ability to coordinate with vendors and internal teams to maintain testing standards and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality control in a lab setting and adherence to QC procedures.
• Ability to perform calibrations and maintain calibration records.
• Familiarity with quality systems, PDCA cycles and documentation.
• Safety practices and accurate recordkeeping are required.

Responsibilities

• Request and/or initiate corrective actions to identify cause and eliminate future non-conformance.
• Assist with development, implementation, maintenance and documentation of QC Inspection Procedures and Records.
• Support Quality Lab Manager in calibration of measurement devices and test standards.
• Calibrate lab equipment and coordinate with third parties as needed.
• Create and retain calibration documents and forward to Document Control.
• Assist in procurement of lab materials and manage inventories to meet quality standards.
• Identify and document blend nonconformance and communicate corrective actions.
• Prepare Certificate of Analysis for customers as required.
• Authorize release of Packaging Work Orders and supporting product information.
• Assist in managing fluid retain system and conduct lab product research as assigned.
• Apply Risk Management Concepts and PDCA techniques.
• Participate in ongoing improvement of processes and enforce safety practices.
