Job summary

Ornua is seeking a Quality Technician in Hilbert, WI to perform Quality Assurance inspections and support Food Safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance. You will work with production to identify issues and help maintain quality throughout manufacturing.

The role requires a High School diploma; a Science-related degree is preferred and English communication is essential. This position offers full-time hours on 3rd shift with standard dairy industry benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Science degree in Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, or Chemistry preferred.
• General knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Sanitation, and Production preferred.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, including written and verbal.
• Basic math and computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate lab equipment.
• Check the Production line at the start of each product run for proper materials.
• Check packaging labeling and identification at start of each run.
• Perform on-line testing (Fat, Moisture, pH, etc.) during production.
• Generate reports on finished products after testing.
